About Me

This site was originally launched in December 2023 as an assignment of CDS 564, Adult Language Disorders, assigned by Dr. Castro as the course final project. A day in November 2023,  I met Dr. Castro in the hallway of Carry and mentioned I wanted to build a website for the final project, she advised me try google site and it's free. I looked up google site and that was the birth of this site. The content listed on the pages are all related to Aphasia, presented in a patient/communication partner friendly way.

Prior to this assignment, I had formulated a thought to touch the topics and clinical practice in the field of Speech-Language Pathology in English and Mandarin, as a space to summarize what I've learned and explore my thoughts over the past 5.5 years of graduate and undergraduate study. Meanwhile, as a space to provide information to readers who are interested in the field of Speech-Language Pathology and to clients/parents who have been searching around with questions.

As I am about to start a new journey for my clinical fellowship year, it is time to pick up what I've left since December 2023. I am going to expend the sites step by step in my spare time. Please stay tuned.
